First World – voyeur in and out of a tent
Transposing media from the short film version of First World, the storytelling is structured in more relevant way. The fragmentation of the media and the story are layered together visually and aurally – the latter being separated into two chapters: in and out of the tent. The video is viewed either in or out of the tent, with the audio interacting in different ways with what one sees depending on where they are viewing the project. In both instances, the role of voyeur, or intruder, of looking in from out is explored.
